Jackal and Foxe is a United States-based graphic design contracting company that specializes in historical, medieval, and fantasy artwork for video games. It began formation in early 2023 when, after months of working together on Verdancy Vale, Hubert, Karol, and Jacob proposed the idea of bringing more Polish art to America.
Working behind the scenes is a wide (and growing) array of European artists full of compassion, conviction, and tenacity for telling stories and seeing them come to life through their artwork. We’re here to bridge the gap between their expertise and your project ideas!
It’s dead simple! You tell us about your project and needs or requirements – we then analyze your case and suggest an artist (or artists) that will meet your expectations and other terms such as contract period, weekly working time, and hourly rate. We can further negotiate the detail and in the end, you only need to sign the contract. That’s all – you successfully got an artist on the board.
JACOB FOXE
Computer Engineer by education, game developer by trade, Jacob Foxe is an avid fan of the video game industry and has been developing his flagship title: Verdancy Vale since 2021. He loves to innovate and tell beautiful (sometimes haunting) stories, and when given the opportunity to bring Hubert onto his development team in 2022, he was ecstatic!
Jacob runs the customer relations side of Jackal and Foxe, as well as carries all of the domestic joy of owning a company. He’s your point of contact as a client of ours, and he’s looking forward to chatting with each and every one of you!
Favorite Games: The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Hades, Stardew Valley

HUBERT ZIAREK
Computer Engineer, graphic designer and self-taught artist. Hubert loves great stories of any kind: movies, animations, games, books, and the ones told by the fire. He’s excited about weaving little stories into graphic designs, and medieval/fantasy is his favorite backdrop. He possess extensive knowledge about historical weapons, buildings, and clothes.
Hubert is responsible for the art department. He manages the artist team, in addition to creating his own artwork. Feel free to ask him about anything related with the art!
Favorite Games: The Settlers 4, God of War, The Witcher Series

KAROL ZIAREK
An aspiring Computer Science student, a video games enthusiast, and an avid fan of economics. He’s been working with Hubert on a couple of different enterprises, and now is a part of the J&F family. Despite his young age, Karol is an individual that strives to work with the best people on the best projects.
Karol is Jackal and Foxe’s special operations unit (dirty-work man). To name a few of his responsibilities, he manages operational stuff, finances, processes, various technical aspects of the company workflow, and above all else, he keeps watch over the organization’s well-being.
Favorite Games: HoM&M 3, The Witcher Series, Mount & Blade
